Looking for a talented CTO to join an exciting mobile startup. Partners include publishing, media, retail, fashion, and CPG sectors.
Responsibilities:
The CTO will be instrumental in helping to scale a very dynamic and growing organization. This person should have deep technology knowledge and be able to evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for the delivery of our mobile applications.
The CTO should be able to make technological assessments and evaluations on key points of redundancy across systems and human capital planning.
Required Skills:
* 7+ years experience leading and managing a team of engineers
* Experience in the consumer web or games space
* Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to use cutting edge technology in our market place
* Supervise recruitment, training, retention, and organization of all development staff in accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements
* Build and manage a top caliber development team and oversee the development & project management with some of our top game titles in the studio
* Collaborate with the executive team to assess and recommend technologies and support company organizational needs.
* Deep technology understanding of LAMP, Flash, Unix, MySQL, Java & Smartfox
* We are looking for an enthusiastic, performance-driven self-starter and team player
* Previous start-up experience is a strong plus
* BA/BS degree – CS/EE/Engineering degree preferred
